PvP vs PvE
Seer
The Seer has two distinct sub-specs: Blasphemer (Mace) uses Rune enchantments and the Zeal mechanic to deal Magic Damage and control enemies with sigils and curses; Reverent (Catalyst) deploys Construct runes for healing, shielding, and zone control while firing magic orbs. Both specs share the Woodling Expert and Way of Gylden Hunt talent branches.

BSeer is rated the same in both — B-tier — so the loadout mostly carries over between modes.
Role in a Group
Reverent is the primary support role: deploy Healing Rune and Shelter Rune before fights, use Death Ward on whoever is being focused, and blind enemies with Blinding Rune to create openings. Blasphemer plays as a magic damage dealer who locks down targets with Thorn Sigil, Impact Sigil, and Paralysis Curse while sustaining through Zeal.
↑ Strengths
- ✓Reverent is the only dedicated healer with Healing Rune and Healing Art
- ✓Death Ward prevents death on any ally — one of the strongest defensive skills in the game
- ✓Blasphemer's Zeal increases Attack and Defense, and the Ferocity talent adds Super Armor on top
- ✓Construct runes (Punishment, Shelter, Stealth, Windwalker) provide passive zone pressure
- ✓Blinding Rune is a unique vision-denial tool with no equivalent in other classes
↓ Weaknesses
- ✗Reverent Constructs require good placement to be effective
- ✗Blasphemer relies on Curse Mana management — running dry during Zeal locks out key skills
- ✗Many Catalyst skills require chanting (cast time) before deployment
