How Path of Glory works

Unlock & opt-in

Path of Glory unlocks at character Level 6. Before each match, every player individually chooses whether to enable it — enabling ranked mode does not change the game's underlying matchmaking rules.

Earning Rank Points

Points are awarded at match settlement for:

  • Defeating rival Gyldhunters
  • Successful extraction
  • Defeating monsters
  • Completing tasks
  • Acquiring assets

Which actions yield points — and how many — depends on your current tier. There's a cap on maximum points per match, and points are only deducted for failing to extract.

Milestone rewards

Every time you advance to a major tier, you claim milestone rewards — with higher tiers unlocking exclusive cosmetics. Once you reach Fateweaver I, Normal difficulty matches stop granting Rank Points, so you'll need to venture into higher-difficulty modes to keep climbing.

Server-Wide Points Leaderboard

Alongside Path of Glory, Bellring Games is launching a Server-Wide Points Leaderboard that ranks players by their account's total accumulated points. It automatically detects your most-played class as your "main" and displays your highest-playtime character name under it. Players who reach Zenith have their exact point totals shown publicly.

Frequently asked questions

What is Path of Glory in Mistfall Hunter?

Path of Glory is Mistfall Hunter's ranked system, introduced for the official launch. It replaces the beta's Hunt Ranking, Gylden Hunt, and Demon Hunt leaderboards with a single unified ranked ladder of 7 tiers, from Duskborn to Zenith.

How do I unlock ranked mode in Mistfall Hunter?

Path of Glory unlocks once your character reaches Level 6. Before each match, you can freely choose whether to enable it — this setting is independent for each player on your team and does not change the underlying matchmaking rules.

How do you earn Rank Points in Mistfall Hunter?

You earn Rank Points at match settlement for defeating rival Gyldhunters, successfully extracting, defeating monsters, completing tasks, and acquiring assets. Which actions grant points — and how much — varies depending on your current tier. There is a cap on the maximum points earnable in a single match.

Can you lose Rank Points in Mistfall Hunter?

Yes, but only for failing to extract. Rank Points are not deducted for other outcomes.

What are all the Mistfall Hunter rank tiers?

From lowest to highest: Duskborn, Mistwalker, Dawnseeker, Fateweaver, Oracle, Exalted, and Zenith.

What happens once you reach Zenith?

Zenith is the top tier of Path of Glory. Players who reach it have their exact Rank Point totals displayed publicly on the Server-Wide Points Leaderboard, showcasing the server's elite Gyldhunters.

What is the Server-Wide Points Leaderboard?

It's a separate leaderboard, launching alongside Path of Glory, that ranks all players by their account's total accumulated points. The system automatically identifies the class you've played the most as your 'main class' and displays your highest-playtime character nickname under that class.
