Soul Harvest Goes Live: Season 1's Flagship Mode Arrives

·metamist editorial

Soul Harvest launched across all maps and difficulty tiers on August 14, 2026. Players gather Soul Cocoons during a match, defeat the Soulgnawer elite to complete the ritual, and extract to keep the rewards — with rival Gyldhunters free to ambush mid-ritual.

How Soul Harvest works

Soul Harvest is a dynamic in-match activity you can trigger in the field. You gather Soul Cocoons, then take on the Soulgnawer — a serpentine, human-faced elite that actively disrupts the ritual — and must defeat it to complete the harvest. Completing and extracting keeps your rewards; rival squads can ambush you at any point during the ritual, so committing to a harvest is a real risk/reward call.

What else shipped with it

Season tasks and a seasonal exchange shop went live alongside the mode

The chat Block function was added

Report-feedback emails: players now get notified when a cheating or teaming report they filed leads to action

Server stability work targeting rubber-banding and delayed actions

Fixed Soul Corn looting in the Forgotten Tomb

Seasonal rewards

The August 14 launch came with seasonal rewards including a Soulbound Serpent Crystal and material selection chests, plus compensation rewards distributed to players for supporting the game through the rocky first two weeks of server issues.

What this means for players

Soul Harvest is the fastest way to earn seasonal currency for the exchange shop, but the Soulgnawer fight leaves you exposed. Running it in a coordinated trio is far safer than solo. Expect the first week of harvest routes to be messy while the community works out safe trigger spots on each map.
